Yorkshires only Little Tern colony relies on paid wardens to protect them from predators and disturbance, the team have achieved amazing numbers of fledglings in recent years and it would be a great shame if it doesn’t run this year, much appreciated if you can help out with this funding gap 🙏

Train up to Seaton Carew today to see the Twite..c 200, Fantastic views as they drank from the small fresh water pools. I counted 10 colour ringed birds reported to the ringing scheme. Also 3x Red Throated Divers and 1 x Red-breasted Merganser in the channel.

Derwent Hunt trespasses again at Chafer Wood nature reserve | Yorkshire Wildlife Trust On the 15th November, the Derwent Hunt once again trespassed into our Chafer Wood nature reserve near Ebberston.

Absolutely gobsmacked to witness massive raptor migration near Panama City this morning. Probably the most birds I've ever seen in my life! The video doesn't do it justice, there were clouds of them moving through. Nature is amazing. #birds #flyways

Black Redstart at Golf Course Willows at Flamborough Head.

Driving back down to the airport to head home. Stopped off at Cowens Wildlife Refuge..I'm really lucky that work takes me to these places and really loved North Carolina.
