Hospitals shouldn’t be a place where patients and healthcare workers get infected.

Preventing airborne infections requires system-level protections, not “optional” measures. Because prevention works—and clean air saves lives.

Experts Call For N95s Over Surgical Masks As Flu, Covid Viruses Spread World Health Network experts urge WHO to make N95, KN95, or FFP2 respirators the standard for protection for healthcare workers, not inferior surgical masks.

Experts call for N95s over surgical masks as flu and COVID viruses spread.

“From an economic perspective alone, the WHN makes a compelling case for respirators as the standard of care for healthcare workers” — @drjudystone.bsky.social via @forbes.com

World Health Network was featured in The Guardian as experts urge the WHO to update global guidance: surgical masks are inadequate, and respirators should be standard protection in healthcare settings.

Evidence-based public health matters.

Six years without getting sick isn’t a miracle. It’s what happens when airborne problems are met with airborne solutions.

Respirators work quietly, consistently, and without spectacle. For the people wearing them, and for those who can’t afford another infection.
