xAI data centre emits plumes of pollution, new video shows - Gas Outlook A massive data centre at xAI’s controversial site in Memphis, Tennessee is emitting huge plumes of pollution, according to new footage.

Ugh. All that energy wasted and pollution created for a glorified text prediction/plagiarism machine.

The image is a tweet by Dave Statter about Kimmel's opening line when he returned to ABC last night. "I know it's not the Kimmel news of the night, but I wonder how many reporting on the talk show host's return recognize that his opening line was an homage to Jack Paar. β€˜As I was saying before I was interrupted,’ was Paar's opening line upon his return after walking off the Tonight Show for seven weeks in 1960 following NBC censors cutting a joke about a water closet (bathroom). His last line before walking out and leaving the show to sidekick Hugh Downs was, 'There must be a better way of making a living than this. When he came back Paar said, "I looked and there isn't.'"

On top of everything else, the comedy history nerd in me loves Kimmel even more this morning for this deep cut, a cut on a scale so immense as to dwarf any previous such cut in the history of man.
