It was crazy to hear Adam Jensen’s exact voice coming out of some random normal guy. Also this whole thing feels very inspired by the first Mass Effect (complimentary/derogatory)

EVIL will scratch the itch until Coogler’s take comes out, they got one of the greatest Scully-likes of all time on that show

Next on my docket is The Expanse, a show my gf dropped halfway into the season so it’s officially my new Show To Watch By Myself

Let this be your sign to give it a shot! Season 1 is pretty good but the show kicks into overdrive once they go to streaming with S2

I could watch season after season of the one-off episodes, provided they stay at the same quality. It’s really great television

Just finished EVIL (2019), which I really liked quite a bit! I’d highly recommend it to anybody who really misses The X-Files. It’s a great impression, right down to the important story arc episodes getting a little shaggy toward the end. The case-of-the week stuff here is nearly unimpeachable tho

Is it an unpopular opinion to say that I liked the first half of Sinners more than the second half? Not talking shit about the vampire stuff by any means but stuff like the scene where they realize they’ve been paid in literal wooden nickels is unbelievably good
