I cannot stand the "this is a good start" discourse. The Democrats in Congress do not want to abolish ICE. They have proposed a series of bog-standard reforms regurgitated by a think tank. Everyone knows they do not work. The Democrats supporting this do not care. They just want to move on.

Los Angeles - we have a viable socialist candidate for mayor and more of y’all need to get on board and mobilize. First canvas was today and while so many people resonated with the message, few had heard of Rae Huang before. We NEED to change that.

Democrats seem to have softened their demand that federal immigration officers be banned from wearing masks when making deportation arrests. The House minority leader, Representative Hakeem Jeffries, said that the party’s position was that “no masks should be deployed in an arbitrary and capricious fashion.” Senator Chuck Schumer, the minority leader, said that masks should only be used in “extraordinary” circumstances

And the Democrats have already backed down from the most basic toothless “demands.” ICE cannot wear masks, you know unless they really need to

That’s not how you bargain though? Start with your most extreme demands, not ask for the bare minimum and bargain even that away

True to form, power protects power. Casey Wasserman must resign, and Los Angeles deserves a mayor who isn't afraid to call for it.

Over a million people make use of public transportation services in Los Angeles daily. Fare-free days are a window into a future that we can fight for in our city!

Sick people should receive medical care.

If basic needs were guaranteed and taken care of, society would be healthier and happier.

Anyway a great way to radicalize people is for them to realize that you just abandoned their chance at being able to access and afford health care because you didn’t like waiting in line at the airport.
