This may also be exacerbated by a reliance on AI to develop too... A lack of training junior talent now means there could be a generation of game developers who may not know and understand the practices of making games (both good and bad). What impact will this have for games? 👀

It's concerning to think that in a decade we're likely to see more impacts of recent lay offs, especially with the lack of juniors at present - What happens when devs retire? Are there enough opportunities for the next generation of devs to thrive?
