Using power and authority to bully, belittle, and threaten those you view as other or beneath you is never ok. It most certainly is not a show of strength but a show of insecurity and weakness.

Human history shows that unchecked/unchallenged power in authority results in chaos and suffering. Celebrating or being complicit to this just because you believe it won’t affect you and that those who are affected are just necessary collateral damage is selfish, unchristian, and inhumane.
