I’ve had to learn a LOT about PBMs and research many of the companies that are on his list. It’s a chicken or the egg situation really, did hospital/pharmaceutical costs inc bc of PBMs or did PBMs come about bc of the increasing costs of hospital/pharmaceutical co? It can be debated all day

They keep adding new indications which extends the exclusivity by X amount of years depending on how innovative the new indication is 😀 they need to max out exclusivity at 10 years bc it’s getting ridiculous

I had to do a 1-month rotation in managed care for my PharmD degree. It opened my eyes to the idea that there are good PBMs that provide real resources for patients that some pharmacies can’t. They’re not all bad I promise. It’s the greedy top 3-5 that ruined it for everyone
