i think there are extremely specific things he does very well, but it’s a narrow range and does not nearly justify the movie star status he’s been given. i’ve been entertained far more by his offscreen antics than his work on screen—which explains everything

the Merrily proshot has really excellent color grading and looks SO much better than Wicked. I am not a fan of the over-editing of tight and medium shots, but watching that trio's magic up close is pretty darn special -- lots of really great tears!
