03.08.2025 13:09 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0As for me, I've published two books one in 2019 arguing for people to understand that there's a far right that isn't fascist, and one in 2021 saying "no platform" should be restricted to fascists and not other rightists. I argue those points in movements - don't always win! - but I do argue them
03.08.2025 13:07 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Sorry, I'm being slow here. You're saying that another barrister in my chambers was there on the demo and calling people on the other side "Nazi scum"?

βThe courtβs concession that the groupβs members are not terrorists in the ordinary sense of the term is significant and its importance will increase: any finding that proscription is proportionate will be hard to sustain.β

30.07.2025 20:17 β π 14 π 4 π¬ 1 π 1Any news on the interim stuff?
30.07.2025 14:57 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Also, what's the outcome in the short-term; will PA be treated as de-proscribed between now and the JR hearing; or will they and be protesters be subject to the terror consequences in the interim?
30.07.2025 13:29 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0What does that mean concretely - what's the remedy? Is this just permission for more hearings, or is actually the proscription decision set aside (maybe for Home Office to make a fresh, proper decision, later)?
