It’s been awhile since I’ve picked up a T206 for the build and I’m really happy with this one. It’s got character like most of the others I’ve got but when a super cheap Southern Leaguer pops up on eBay, you have to hit BIN. Happy to add my second Southern Leaguer to the build. #cardsky

Hey it’s understandable. The lore and tales of Satch I’m sure often times have had him being in two places at once😂. So it makes sense that a map could have a mixup. This is truly an incredible undertaking and awesome project.

This is incredible! These two spots need to be moved on the map. I was about to take a detour after work today 😂 but these need to be on the Grand Rapids MI spot of the map. Still amazing work though!

Agreed on the black backs. Obviously for Venny’s it makes it one of the easiest years to identify, along with 62, but they just look so good!

Today’s mailday brings me my third Venezuelan Topps Al Kaline card with this 1967 Topps. I didn’t plan on my T206 pickups taking a break but I couldn’t pass up some of these recent giveaways of these rarer cards😂. Happy to pick away at the Venny Kaline run. #cardsky

So impressive!! I would love to get my hands on a T204 at some point. Your team sets are even more impressive considering you’re a mad man that did the T206 Tigers twice to keep the team set separate from the 520. 😂. I always love seeing your posts of your collection.

The 72 high numbers are a different beast than a lot of other high number sets. When I sold off my collection of complete or near complete sets from 1969-1998 last fall, there’s a reason my 72 set was missing 100 cards….spending $10-$20 for a legit common name is ridiculous!

I need to get an updated group shot of my oldest daughter and my Riley Greene collections. I haven’t updated the pic since 2023 but we’ve definitely gotten more cards since😂

Thanks! Yeah the rookie is a toughie but thankfully isn’t as crazy priced as his other 54 Topps counterparts Banks and Aaron. Haha. The 55 is one of the sneakier tough cards on the Kaline run.

It’s great collecting under appreciated and under valued HOF’ers. Could not pass up this lower grade signed 1957 Topps Al Kaline. Slowly picking away at a signed career run of Mr. Tiger. #cardsky

It’s rough and has seen some battles but it thankfully didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Just some cuts and a missing piece😂. Still can’t believe I own a Cobb.

Their grade comments can be spot on a lot of times but other times not. This card was labeled creased and I got it for a steal raw. That’s just a print line across the cheek. No creases at all.🤷🏻‍♂️. I’m not mad at it.😁

Today’s mailday from @prewarcards.bsky.social brings me my first E102 in Wild Bill Donovan. I set a goal of trying to pick up a few pre-war cards this year that weren’t T206. This card was perfect as it’s a Tiger but also uses my favorite T206 image. Happy to have it. #cardSky

No I don’t. I’ve seen it before but it’s just not been an item on my watchlist. I’m sure I’ll pick it up one day as it does have some great images in it.

It’s always good to be prepared and carry many batteries. You never know when they’ll come in handy. 😁

I’m holding out hope of one day finding a bandaid battery in a box at a show here in Michigan. Hoping an old guys eyes are bad and they overlook it. Because that’s the only way I’m getting that card, as I’m not paying those ridiculous prices.

Yes!!! My mom made my brothers and I the ninja costumes from the second movie for Halloween 95. My youngest brother who was 1 at the time wouldn’t cooperate as Tum Tum😂. I rarely watched the third one Knuckle Up(actually the 2nd movie) but loved Kick Back. We don’t talk about the ones that followed

My T206 set build took a big step forward today thanks to the kindness of @brewing.bsky.social He’s finished his set and was nice enough to send me the big dogs for my binder😁Also happy to add another of your well done Tigers customs to my collection with the alternate Bill Freehan RC #cardsky

Two more T206’s were finally released from the couple week stranglehold of the post office😂. One of the coolest types of portraits in the set are the sweaters and the Doyle is a great one. Up to 102 now.
