You have an obligation to fight bad art with good art. If you make it (and you can), you must make it. If you can't make it (seriously, you can, just start), support it. If you can't afford to support it, talk about it.

To all the creators of things struggling to create: I feel like that’s to be expected but also we have to figure it out. Because as bad as this is right now if we lose our music and dance and poetry and film and art we are truly lost. Take your breaks, find your artistic soul, keep going.

Reminder: the First Amendment protects everyone who resides in our country. It doesn't matter if you have a green card or a visa or if you're undocumented. The Supreme Court has repeatedly affirmed that any person residing in the United States, regardless of status, is entitled to 1A protections.

How do I politely tell people please stop messaging and texting me how horrible it is? I know. I’ve BEEN KNOWING. Please stop clutching your pearls in shock when people do exactly what they said they would do.

Here’s what I need from Democrats; get in the fucking way. Stand in front of those who will hurt others. We can say “constitutional crisis” all day long, but you have to get in front of them.

Refuse to budge. Don’t back down.

You know I’m beginning to think they don’t care if we compare them to Nazis. Tapping out for a few days hang in there and if it all burns down before I come back it’s been a beautiful experiment. Off to resist with some damn joy.

You know how videos that should be hard sometimes come together with no issues whatsoever and then videos that should be easy will take 84 years and cause you to throw things? I am not a fan. Fellow YouTube creators tell me it’s not just me.

Also I’m sorry but people who can afford tickets to the Super Bowl are very unlikely to boo the man that makes sure they don’t pay their fair share of taxes.

Feeling a little more hopeful and a lot more pissed off. As we go into a full moon in Leo week may we all feel our own power and rights and speak the truth. Remember that only 31% of us voted for this and if you include the buyers remorse folks I like our odds.

And please don’t think my post about avocados was meant as though anyone should feel sorry for me - by and large I will be unaffected for now but will be fighting like hell for change because so very very many others will be effected. And that’s what humans do for other humans.

I wish whoever is running all these Dem's social media would be sensitive to the fact that we are all being actively traumatized multiple times a day. Tell us what you're doing to combat the coup or don't post anything at all and just work.

As a person who happens to live in a red state but voted very very blue and also loves avocados I am not well.

I don’t need Dems to make a case for why this is bad. I need Dems to make some promises because this is bad. What are you going to do tonight? Tomorrow? Next week? Next month?

The beatings will continue until morale improves…

I know for many of us this seems trivial but this is the tactic and I think it will work: hold him to his own campaign promises and make him work like never before and as one article I read stated shove the presidency down his throat.

You’ll never convince me that this attack on “DEI” isn’t a specific + coordinated attack on Black women (the 92%) bc it is our work that erected those programs, created those budgets, challenged administrators and executive teams, etc.

But they can’t outpace our creativity or our strength.

Well my low buy year is growing increasingly easy to stick to as I seem to be down to Costco and maybe Trader Joe’s for shopping. I know there are a few more but darn it, Target, I thought I could count on you.
