I love The Bear but they did that a lot this season. And it distracted me from what was going on because I hated most of the song choices 😭 I'm an r&b/jazz girlie, that acoustic soft rock generally doesn't move me.

JC Chase really should have had the solo career of Justin Timberlake but I know why he didn't. He had too much creative control over his solo debut and while it was actually really good, it was an eclectic, multi-genre effort that was never going to be appreciated by his former audience.

Mind you the salad was 4 oz chicken on mostly iceberg lettuce with 1 tomato slice and 1/4 of a boiled egg- I've had salads that were rightfully $15 but this was not it. And the red beans & rice were $8

I'm about to start bringing a cooler of food to work on office days because the prices at downtown Houston restaurants are outrageous. A breakfast sandwich and a 12 oz cold brew from a local coffee shop was $21! Lunch was a grilled chicken salad & small side of red beans & rice- $25! Insanity 😤

When I was a wee one I got Sesame Street in the morning and that was it! The TV got turned on for Days of Our Lives at 4pm, the local news at 5pm and back off! So you know what I did? I read books, colored, played outside, wrote poems & played with my Barbie dolls.

"My child can't live without Disney+". You know you can rent videos for streaming from the library, right? And Disney's whole catalog is piled up on DVDs sitting in used bookstores and Goodwills across America. Come on now! Get some intestinal fortitude!
