Slept horribly and thought I got away with it, but evidently not.

Leave it unused too long and it self-triggers and chooses from an assortment of little demons who start making a mess.

Instead of placing something in the middle you could also say an incantation while standing nearby... oh man I like this a lot, it's totally open-ended so it'd be easy to make it do pretty much anything I want

It'll probably be a spell where you target a source of blood and it destroys it and leaves the pentagram behind. Could be a jar, or a piece of raw meat, or the body of a monster. Can use it on yourself as well but it does a ton of damage so that's a last resort.

some props might have unique cursed properties, but I'd come up with a handful of interchangeable ones for props I don't have any plans for.

eventually want to set this up as a rare encounter in the attic. i'm also tempted to have the pentagram be a /thing/, like you can find them or make them yourself, and whatever you place in the center will become cursed, using up the pentagram in the process. #gamedev #pixelart

I could look at any chunk of it forever I think. Nobody evokes physicality and brush strokes as effectively as this, and the colors are mind-blowing.
