Circular economy ‘fundamental’ to government’s growth plans, says environment secretary The environment secretary has said that moving the UK to a circular economy is a “fundamental part of the government’s national plan for change”, in a summary of planned measures to cut waste.

In a blog post for the think tank Green Alliance, Environment Secretary Steve Reed emphasised the importance of the UK’s circular economy reforms and reassured businesses that the government will ensure the changes are workable for them.
