Oh no! I missed A Lee Martinez Appreciation Day!! Well a happy ALMAP day to you! I've read every book of yours and have looked forward to every new book eagerly ever since I first read Monster. I do hope we can get another novel sometime as you are one of my favorite authors.

I love the Aftermath trilogy! It was through those books that I discovered you as a writer. I finished The Book of Accidents recently and will be diving into The Staircase in the Woods sometime soon. You're one of the good guys!

My wife and I also have a long-running inside joke where if we want to be spooky we just say, "I'm there right now."

When my wife and I were going to see Mulholland Drive, there were two older women coming out of the theater having just watched the previous screening. They told us, "Don't go see Mulholland Drive! It's terrible!" That's when we knew we were going to love it.

I just realized that I was both lucky enough, and into films enough, to see the following David Lynch films in the theater: Dune, Blue Velvet, Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive, and Inland Empire. I'm so happy I got to experience those on the big screen. 📽️
