I think a small change towards a secular order would be to remove mentions of God or prayer from official govt statements ("May God bless you and America," "our prayers are with the victims," etc.). Smth moore in line with what you hear from European politicians.

During my future FIL's swearing in, we were told he would "uphold the law, knowing that the one true law comes from our lord Jesus Christ." I was told this was normal and a regional thing. 😳 I remain... unconvinced this should be part of any official ceremony.

No one in the admin seems to think even a single step ahead. No "how would this actually get done/built." No "what will be the effects of this change." Just wanton destruction or pie in the sky nonsense. Theory to practice -- there's a gap!

Not my field of law, but I would not be surprised if parents had to sign a waiver saying they agree to their child's use of this system, are aware of risks, and cannot hold the school accountable. Could the school's lack of control over AI be seen as gross negligence? We don't know yet :-(

So there will be some federal department checking what? GPAs and test scores against admissions and race data?! "Hmm, this black person with a 3.72 gpa got admitted while this white person with a 3.73 did not. Ring the DEI bell!!"

From a practical standpoint, how would this even be achieved?census.gov says it collects info on place of birth but not status, and other agencies then deduce # of undocumented people. Would those deduced #s then be subtracted from the total count? And be granular enough to use for district maps??
