Bijan accounted for 40% of #Falcons yards in 2025, while a healthy Drake London was 20% in 2024 and 30% during that peak 6-game stretch in the middle of 2025.

Bottoming out in 2026 with a brand coach, GM, etc. with an eye towards taking a QB very high in 2027 NFL Draft is probably the best path forward for the Falcons, but it remains to be seen if ownership has any appetite for that.

As someone who has complained about Kyle Hinton's presence on the #Falcons roster for the past 2 years, he's been solid these past 2 weeks filling in for Matthew Bergeron.

So much so, that I'm really starting to wonder about Bergeron's status.

Falcons fans and media are coming out the woodwork to defend the decision to trade awaya 2026 1st round pick cuz of the team's sack production this year.

But what they fail to realize is that the scheme & blitzing is behind that increased production, not any one individual player.

It's one of the worst run defenses in the NFL. That starts upfront. One NT isn't solving that problem (although it would help).

Instead of checking the stats, watch the film.

Falcons season is done, but yet there are gonna people out there upset when this team isn't active making moves before the trade deadline.

They'd have to go 8-1 rest of the way to have a realistic shot at making the playoffs. What trade(s) is gonna make that happen?

Be my guest waiting 2-3 years for the development that at best is a coin flip on whether it ever comes.

They still need to add 4 more quality players to their front at edge & DT. Gotta bolster LB depth and still revamp the CB room.

The defense is in Year 1 of a 3 to 4-year project/process.

Defense: They can't get pressure without sending a blitz. They can't stop the run. And their CB room, besides AJ Terrell, is very suspect.

Offense: They can't win the physical battle in the trenches and don't have enough separators/man beaters at WR & TE

The fact that you don't see it is crazy to me. Coaching can be a bigger issue but that doesn't make the roster a non-issue.

The Falcons have lots of issues. A deficient roster is near the top of the list.

They have a few solid young(ish) pieces to rebuild around and the rest of 2025 is about finding out who else is joining that core.

The injury to Falcons LB Divine Deablo is a significant one, but I do think some folks have a tendency to be overly dramatic about how "doomed" the Falcons are with JD Bertrand needing to fill in for a few games.
