Took a bunch of stuff to my new classroom today and started setting up. Now that I have my keycard it's time to start decorating!

Didn't think digital piano repair would be on my docket for the day.

I teach at a k-8 school with more than 400 serious discipline issues each year. There are schools in the district with a 10th of that. These are not bad kids, but they are seeing and dealing with things in their lives that no child should. This is a direct attack on students like mine.

Had a good night of 3D printing. Modeled 2 new simple designs for my daughter and wife and they both turned out great! Already printed a multi-color proof of concept of the one and it went wonderfully.

Finally 3D printing something I designed myself. It's just a simple catch-all tray with an area to hold mail, but I'm happy with it nonetheless.

Sitting here tonight and rocking my son (who is struggling a bit with sleep) and I can't help but feel worried about so much. Worried not so much for myself, but for so many of those around me who stand to lose so much in the coming months and years. I'm here for you. We're in this together.

Middle Earth Roleplaying and DnD 3E. Played with close friends and remember both fondly. The former more for the good times than the system, but w/ 3E I enjoyed both the play sessions and the game itself.
