I interned in a state Medicaid/Medicare audit unit. The idea that states do not do this already is absurd and is only justified if you are incensed that non-white people receive equal benefits that they are entitled to under the law.

It’s not just Medicaid funding they’re withholding to MN. It’s food assistance, child care assistance, social services, job training, safety testing, public health, disaster relief. SNAP. Free lunch for kids in school.

None of these pieces were labeled or titled. So many cats and a few doggies in the pieces. Check out the embossing, very impressive.

These scenes were so alive, photos don't do it justice.

From a distance you can't appreciate the embossing on the golden backdrop or the little faces, but these pieces were large. I swear you could live with these for a month and keep discovering things.

These colors make my eyes happy. The collection isn't what you immediately associate with Murakami and that made it extra special.

If you're in LA I *highly* recommend visiting Perrotin to see the Murakami exhibit. My brain couldn't process all of the details, each time I revisited a painting I would discover new things, spot new little guys. Tremendous collection of work. I encourage you to zoom in on these.
