For what I do work-wise, AI is unfortunately very much here to stay & I have to deal with it. The choice I've made is to hold AI at knifepoint & make myself valuable by knowing how it will fuck up and what it's not good at yet. And I *never* use it outside of work.

This thread makes me sad for a lot of reasons. Part of it just comes from a basic problem of approach--anything less than an adversarial relationship with AI just turns you into an addict to an illusion of productivity. I couldn't live with myself like this.
