I log on and I post my little hobbies and jokes and then I check the feed and it's everyone mad or the horrors. I can feel my mental health plummet every time. I try and be hopeful and it feels like this place is antithetical to that.

There's this and spirited away. They're both incredible. I don't think there's any others right now. They play the west end mostly I'm not sure they're anywhere else. I don't think they're the same production companies, spirited away was the original Toho run one with the same cast as in Japan.

I got checked for arthritis and they don't think it's that but it's bad enough for them to want to rule it out. EDS runs in my family I think so it's probably that and I'm trying to get them to sort me out a stronger painkiller.

Ghibli on stage pulls off puppets in ways I've never seen remotely approached at anything else. So much personality in them all. This MF is doing facial expressions, laughing, lifting stuff with his hands. It's incredible.

They managed to play moments like that off as jokes really well. The stagehand goes slightly too far ahead so it looks like a fuck up and the driver chastises him but then the guy runs off with him way too far ahead of the bus anyway and the driver shrugs and does the driving mime anyway.
