I'm beginning to think doing work for my job on weekends and early mornings and late evenings might not be the move for a fulfilling creative life

on one hand, ya gotta make games to be a game maker. on the other hand, my full time job absolutely squeezes all of my time and energy out of me like a sponge. so if I want to make games to be a game maker, maybe I need to find a way to reclaim that time and energy

tbh if we end up going the 'disney sues the ai companies' route, combined w this, I think we're kinda moving towards a very clear & uncomfortable hierarchy re whose creative integrity gets respected vs censored &/or exploited

As a maker of exceptionally sexless art, I just wanna say publicly that any attempt at censorship of the arts is to be resisted. NSFW art is always an easy target, but it’s also always only the first step in a chain, not to mention the artistic value of this stuff in its own right.
