After last week working with them I think so. I'm even casting my UI widgets using BPIs. The enemy hit reactions took me a minute to figure out with the correct inputs but BPIs definitely help with performance and overall cleanup

I have a BPI for the grenade projectile and assigned that class to whatever is destructible, including the enemies. Once it's assigned in the "class" settings I can call whatever custom event I have inside those destructible events in the grenade Blueprint instead of a hard cast.

So I have it working but it's sloppy. I'm casting the enemy NPC to the main characters blueprint's aiming section to play a widget animation when my sphere trace hits the enemy while aiming. I'll look at the interface system since this is an arcade shooter inspired game.
