Or to put it another way, not enough of us exist to have separate facilities. Segregating us form our fellow women would effectively force us into solitary confinement or travel halfway across the country to a special facility where we are all dumped. We are not a risk to women

2/ But offering non-inclusive women (for WHATEVER reason) a secure private area within the facility they can feel safe away from the percieved (not actual) threat from trans women. Goiven that most refuges would probably never have more than 1 trans woman if at all

Being victims of domestic violence is common to women both trans and cis. We CAN undertand each other. Segregating trans and cis women does not help. We are not "both sides" we are the same side.
The concession is not separating us from other inclusive women 1/

But one thing I always get from my female friends. They REALLY hate the term Cis. They will accept it in a conversation about trans women and cis women. But outside of THAT specific framework, they REALLY hate Cis. They feel it downgrades them. I am happy to make that accommodation

I kinow of ONE incident in a shelter where a trans woman went mental.
There are various cases of women in centres being violent. But people only want ALL trans women banned for the same offence many women have committed. We are just not a threat. But maybe a cis-only wing and an ALL women wing?
