5) worst part of journey was Dover / Calais. A 90 minute ferry crossing took nearly 5 hours once security and boarding/disembarking were factored in. Avoid! Next time we’ll get the ferry direct to France and skip the UK - it was by some distance the least pleasant part of the journey
