I just found out today is National School Librarian Appreciation Day as a result of some colleagues appreciating us. School librarians need administrators, colleagues, and parents to continue to advocate for all students to even have a library and certified librarian in their school.

Every so often, it just comes back to me in full force. The political and economic order that allowed this man to come to power is obviously no longer tenable. The leaders who let it happen obviously have to be replaced. This is an epoch defining failure and we have to turn the page completely.

I guess it was time for my quarterly reminder that I once added Rockwell's "SOMEBODY'S WATCHING ME" to my Likes Playlist and I have been unable to delete it no matter how many times I remove it. This is a worse curse than in THINNER
