My favorite player on the field was Stephen Vogt.
When he played for the A’s he always got a “I believe in Stephen Vogt” chant.
I was secretly glad he had to come out so I could yell that. Made me feel good.

I’m formerly a massive A’s fan but now don’t really have a team (been leaning Padres for a while)
Heartbreak teams are the best.
It was a ton of fun to go to a game where I don’t really care about the result.

I did find all the fans to be pretty Awesome though. I highly recommend Mets games to anyone passing through the area.

It was totally unexpected tbh.

A fantastic meal was had. Split a ribeye with my wife and got a bunch of the add ons and sides. The spicy crab topper was incredible.
I was bummed my mom ordered the prime rib because I’m not a prime rib fan and she said it wasn’t that good.

Anyone going to the Mets game tomorrow?

I’ve looked at the menu a bunch of times and still don’t know what I’m ordering. We’re taking my mom and I’m counting on her ordering the aged Gorgonzola sitch. Then see if my wife wants to split the tomahawk.
