And, yay, I have an entirely new book, THE WELL OF ANCIENTS, written and waiting for publication after this. So close to clearing my slate for my seekrit project, a book on writing. So much to do, but it's good to be busy!

I'm nearing the end of The Book of the Holt's final installment, tentatively titled A CURSE OF CROWN AND ROOT. Only two short chapters left to write. I'm aiming for a Friday finish, just in time for the weekend. So glad to have this almost done.

Just hit 100k on the final installment of The Book of the Holt, tentatively titled A Curst of Crown and Root. It's been a long road getting to this point. The end's in sight, though. I'm guessing it'll clock in at around 130k or so. A svelte (for epic fantasy) final novel. Onward!

I’m detoxing after binge watching The Pitt. They did something really special with that show. It’s going to stick with me for a long time. Highly recommended.

The Pitt is some really incredible television. That show needs some Emmy nominations. So many good shows this year. Severance. White Lotus. The Pitt has a different vibe, but it’s right there with them.

Severance S2E10 is easily one of the best episodes of television I’ve ever seen, maybe ever made. Funny, tragic, scary, exciting and creepy as only Severance can do, it fulfilled all the promises it could while leaving room for another season. 10/10. No notes. And the credits deserve an award, imo.

I've broken ground on the third installment of The Book of the Holt trilogy. And have finally settled on a name! I reserve the right to change it, but I think I'm going with Among the Choking Roots. The plot is coming into focus and the opening third is pretty clear. Yay! #writesky 📚🪐
