I dunno I just think these sorts of differences are neat.
Like, credit/debit cards in stores are somewhat unusual except at high end stores in Vietnam, almost all the locals pay with cash or bank transfers. (Large parts of Vietnam skipped the credit card era entirely.) And there's no coins, so cash is more convenient. (Coins bleh.)
