This is a sewing pattern. It is also a page from a late 14th century manuscript that is one of two primary sources for an important Icelandic saga (Sturlunga saga), but that was probably not important to the 17th century person who really needed a sewing pattern.

We’re shellebrating Kit’s 14th birthday! She was rescued as a 5-week-old pup in Jan 2010 and officially achieved surrogate mom status in 2014. Kit has helped raise 10 wild sea otter pups during her time at the Aquarium. We're otterly thankful for her playful antics and impact on the wild population!
