Original and permanent Never trump. Trying to stay sane in an insane world. I’ll try to follow back and keep up with follows. An Onlyfans link in your bio? I probably won’t follow back. No judgement. You do you. But I don’t think my wife would like it.

When I was District Director for a member of Congress back in the 80s we didn’t check to see if people called more than once. But when people called “too often” we couldn’t help but notice, and stopped counting them. With tech today it would be easier to track individuals. I don’t know if they do.

I stopped calling Cruz just because I can’t stand to listen to his voice. I should be stronger, I know.

But “Christians” want “GOD’S JUSTICE.” Ergo, “Christians” want, frantically want, war against (death of) their “enemies,” precisely the same as the people you hate. You keep trying to convince yourself it’s not. But it is.

False. It’s about $5 million. Or some say as much as $20 million, depending on how you allocate development cost. But it’s nowhere near $500 million. I hate Cheeto (and DeSantis) at least as much as you do. But it doesn’t help anyone to repeat silly things like that.

I don’t know where you learned what you think you know about Christianity, but, again, the war you’re talking about is precisely what “Christians” want. Armageddon. War that kills 1/3 of the global population. That’s why “Christians” support Israel. They are the center of the conflict.

Evangelical "Christians" want precisely the same thing, for precisely the same reason, even if they use different words to identify the "messiah."

They are "militarily useless" in the sense that they can't win wars. They are not, however, useless as terrorism.

The Danger of Trump’s Clash with the Conservative Legal Movement Their alliance transformed the judiciary—at a high cost. Now, as the partnership cracks up, a conservative critic of Trump warns of what’s in store.

On Emil Bove’s nomination to the 3d Circuit, “It’s time for conservatives, even those who support the president, to rebel.”Otherwise, a federal judiciary stacked with utterly unprincipled loyalists will dismember the rule of law and bring our republic to its knees: www.thebulwark.com/p/danger-of-...

With the caveat that war is sometimes justified. Like when one country illegally seizes territory of another and brutalizes the population, calling for “peace” is capitulation that rewards aggression and is the greater evil, as it leads to more and wider war.

You’re pretty effing stupid. “They don’t care about results” Tell you what… when you finally graduate 6th grade in a couple of years, get back to us. OK?

The goal isn’t just to take down Harvard. It’s to scare every school into silence. To let Trump reshape education into MAGA dogma. This is how tyrants erase the future—one university at a time.

It is an absolute mystery why you continue to insist that the fact that a person died means it can’t have been a conspiracy. That’s just loony. Sorry.

I disagree about the possible level of stupidity of people. We've all seen things just as stupid as that. People are infinitely stupid. bonpote.com/en/the-5-bas... But that story (we pay you money to miss) is not the only possibility. There's coercion, e.g., which is far from impossible.

I almost hate myself for saying this, but I think your story is as plausible as any, including the lone gunman story. I'm not saying I believe you, but I AM saying this is one -- perhaps the only -- "big" conspiracy I find plausible. It even survives Occam.

... Especially given utter amorality of trump, etc. That doesn't mean it was a conspiracy. It does, however, mean that of all the conspiracies out there (JFK, RFK, MLK, 9/11, Princess Di, Big Pharma hiding cancer cures, and a thousand more) this is maybe the only one I'm not comfortable dismissing.

... like why was he allowed to stand up and pose for cameras when he should have been under a pile of SS agents, or why don't we have more medical information, or how is his ear completely devoid of evidence of an injury, or why isn't he calling for action in the aftermath....
It's just weird. ...

I'm not asserting they did it intentionally. I'm not even asserting there was a conspiracy. It's far more likely, in fact, that the "official story" is the correct one. I'm just saying:
a) killing Comperatore would, IMHO, at best be irrelevant to someone evil enough to plan the assassination, and...

No one is less apt to adopt conspiracies than I am. I’ve even taught a conspiracy theories class (I’m a community college government teacher). But to say that tragic death is an unassailable argument against a conspiracy is just silly.

17.05.2025 16:31 — 👍 8    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

I don’t know if it was some kind of conspiracy or not. But the fact that someone behind him was killed is NOT evidence it wasn’t. If it were a conspiracy, that killing could easily have been intended to provide verisimilitude. And that’s just one possibility.

I also agree. AOC has also earned it. I’d be happy with either one. I hope this competition doesn’t result in hard feelings.
