Today we had Alexey Kushnir (Moroccan Game Theory Center) at our seminar series. Together with his co-author, they propose a pseudo-market mechanism w/ relevant properties to solve course allocation problem. Moreover, their simulation suggests that it outperforms the benchmark model. #econsky

We introduce a cooperative model w/ two stages where the coalition structure in the present influences the worth of coalitions in the future. Today our member Maxim Senkov presented his ongoing project “Democratic Backsliding in Times of Crisis” at our seminar series.

It turns out that non-manipulability via merging (the non-participating agents should not be worse off) identifies constrained egalitarianism in awards, while non-manipulability via splitting points out constrained egalitarianisms in losses. #ClaimsProblems #FairDivision #GameTheory
