I find it interesting that quite a few people who think that climate change is a hoax also believe that clouds are chemical weapons, that governments are modifying the weather, and that the recent increase in aurora activity is caused by a radio transmitter in Alaska.

Does that now make it too late for anyone to withdraw their support?

The travel poster looked like so many others. A lush forest behind a serene beach. The text said "Be something exotic!"

This reminds me of Noem and Bondi, who constantly speak out of school about ongoing cases, both on social media and during press conferences. They are all supremely incompetent.

Not out of the realm of possibility. But I was more thinking of the breaking of another norm. Generally these things are announced to the press by a representative of the hospital, the victim, or the victim’s organization.

Not by the President in a social media post.

The police say that his spokesperson Goodman and the driver of the car suffered minor injuries; the report says that Rudy's were more serious. Oddly, though, the state police will not comment on the story about Rudy pulling over earlier to assist a domestic abuse victim.

When we lose rangers of this caliber, we all become the victims of this administration’s intolerance and incompetence.

So, aside from the danger this presents, we have the US Attorney for DC saying that her department will not enforce the law of the District.

Those that have wealth and power. A lot of folks who’ve fallen for this anti-DEI propaganda are beneficiaries of DEI, even if they don’t know it.

My head hurts. If they really want to invest in companies that hire based on merit, they want companies with properly-run DEI programs. So obviously the use of "Meritocracy" is pure Newspeak. The so-called "conservatives" are trying to redefine every aspect of language. So what are they conserving?

Political opinions? This has nothing to do with political opinions, this has to do with evaluations of the competency of Trump's nominees. They are the ones that will harm the work that people on these programs do.

Trump and his minions are most adept—and this has nothing to do with party affiliation—of appointing administrators who seem bent on screwing up their departments. I don’t want to see NASA go the way of HHS.

Yes, but they are capable of putting incompetent people in charge of it. It’s one of the things they do best.
