Pan is a Krider's red-tailed hawk, a naturally occurring color variation noted for being very light to almost white. Wild red-tailed hawks come in an amazing variety of colors, from nearly black to bright white and a whole scale in between.

As an alum, I'm looking forward to hearing how my alma mater, which prides itself as a protector of free speech, is taking action on behalf of these students/fellow alums.

I just finished rereading the trilogy in the middle of the night last night. I always reread it when times are tough. It’s weird that I take such great comfort from these books, but I think hanging out with Marce, Cardenia, and Kiva just makes me feel good.
