Question for you all, I feel like most people aren't into the plane content, I was thinking of turning my backup Instagram account into one for all the plane and plane accessories pictures and maybe videos one day.

It is the regular release of the 1/72 Hasegawa kit, so I think I'll have to make some masks or decals for this version I'm attempting. The regular one is fine, but I thought this could be a bit more fun and unique.

So I went down that hole trying to match-ish how it looked, by adding some Vallejo Chrome to Vallejo Anthracite Grey along with some gloss over a silver base. Its almost how I wanted it to look, but not quite there yet.

I love when they use a thing for a thing that was some sort of other thing not originally intended for that thing, sort of like "found item" props and greebles.

When I learned that when they were painting, I assume the first, Northrop F-20 Tigershark, they went down to the Mercedes dealership and got a bunch of Anthracite Grey auto paint for it.

At a wacky convention this weekend, not for the Star Trek, but I went as a Star Trek, of course.

Also made some progress on a very old PR XIX Spitfire I started a long time ago and the Supermarine Swift.

I made masks for the WZ399 as I bought the latest edition of the kit, but wanted to do a silver PR one with a bit of color with the red.

After, gotta give it some clear coats, add the rest of the parts, and hopefully finally the 1/72 @officialairfix Vickers Valiant will be done. Looks like I'll have a couple of areas to touch up too from all the flipping around. Most of the decals are all tiny tiny stencils.

Oh boy, decaling this stupid thing took all fraking day, and there's still a few to go. I thought I could just blow it out and be done so I could sit back and enjoy, but not quite.

I'll save that reveal for later, but until then, Up, Up, and Away!

I'll print the detail parts in resin, like the engines, exhausts, etc, the main body and wings are in PLA.

I know exactly the airline and livery I want to make with this, the question is if I have the graphics making knowledge to back it up, since I don't think already made decals exist for it.

However, even though the 1/72 727-200 isn't done yet, I had to purchase the new 727-100 from @aircader.models and scale that to 1/72. I didn't think it was possible, but this one is even nicer than the -200 file set. The detail and parts fit are absolutely fantastic.

Sorry nothing too exciting has been going on, work and other activities have been taking over modeling/propping time.

Absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!

I had a lot of fun painting up the Warhammer Fantasy guy, so I figured a Dark Angel Space Marine should be fun too, although not as shiny as the other.

Plus, $3 1/144 Dauntless, and a book that was right up my alley, made for a great haul. We also had to go to old Target and they had more of those Warhammer Heros guys.

We had a pop by the antique mall tonight and of course, I found some goodies all for about $35. A $10 Tamiya 1/350 I-400 mint in box as well as a $15 Tamiya 1/72 NF Mosquito still in the wrapper, how could I say no to that.

Still needs some desupport and I need to print the rest of the greebles, probably in resin, but I don't think it turned out too bad.

Just for a test and fun, I printed out the Klingon Communicator file set I made a while back. I didn't print all the greebles and this is the static version, I also made up one with the LEDs from STIV.

She kinda looks like a couch.
