Day 2 highlights at #ViCEPHEC25 included the whole Lab Design session (shoutouts to @annajkirkham.bsky.social, Tyler Hughes, Gina Washbourn, Ed Breeds & chair @drlinneasoler.bsky.social). Loved the desire to understand student perspective to help improve individual and collective experience.

Privileged today to host the inaugural Talking Science debate @vicephec.bsky.social where we debated skills and content in UG chem degrees, the role of greater standardisation of degrees and how HEIs could help to ensure a healthy pipeline of applicants. What a fabulous energetic audience!

Fantastic #VICEPHEC keynotes from Jacqui Robson yesterday, Shane Bergin and especially my colleague Julie Hyde (I am biased!) today. Really interesting stuff ranging from public trust in science to the career impact of GTA programmes.
