The Rowling yacht story was fake. A tweet with no credit, corroborated by zero news sources. The Tony Hawk wedding story was misinformed. You don't have to trust your country's reporting, but i urge you to look for something you can fact-check against and make it part of your news habits.

With love, we all need to get a lot better at checking sources before blindly reposting un-credited screenshots as fact. i don't understand the mind of a person who sees horror and decides to fake a story, but it's happening a lot and often, and we collectively keep falling for it.

Catastrophically miscalculated returning my last book and requesting a new one from my hold list at the library, which means i've been checking my account several times a day to see when my next book is coming in.
