Love me some 10mm Imagi-Nations, but I was trying to find a way to use them with Fistful of Lead: Bigger Battles. I designed these wooden slot bases to hold the troops and track their strength. I can pull the individual bases out make them in line or column.

Starfighters! a rules set where you could use anything you can find: old toys, plastic game pieces, 3D printed miniatures, and yes, defunct X-Wing miniatures. A very easy build template allows you to design the ships the way you think they should be.

The Thin but rather splendid Red Line. British troops (Perry Miniatures BIF) stand ready in the small lanes of the village with a steam walker in support (resin model from the catalogue) waiting to receive the Prussian charge.

A view from the scout neff over the central area of the village with one of the British battalions and a 12pdr behind the barricades. In the distance can be seen a Prussian steam walker and some Prussian regular troops lining up ready to advance.

Disaster! The British steam walker is taken out by a Prussian tank in one go (it’s always the way 🙄).

But never fear, the brave boys of the 31st charge forward and manage to take out the tank by throwing explosives down the hatch.

Played another Dorking game last week. A continuation of the one before Xmas.

The Brits were defending the village with reinforcements whilst the dastardly Hun were trying to oust them.
