I'm ward 4 and I have got to say that I am very surprised that Burton won. Didn't see a single lawn sign out for him. When originally reading his platform I remember thinking how incredibly vague it was. Looks like he has volunteer/board experience so hopefully that's positive. Any 🚩's I missed?

Is it wrong that I am genuinely concerned for our city after this election? Seems like a lot of people who know nothing about municipal politics got elected. Was overall a very weak groups of candidates across the board.

Ya he wasn't my candidate so I didn't pay much attention to his platform or what his priorities were. Hard to tell if his rejection of AR was for selfish reasons or if he genuinely is opposed to them. Hopefully the latter.

Also, didn't Rashovich release a pretty strongly worded statement that he did not agree to be endorsed by Advance Regina? Was that done simply because he saw the negative response by many about their meddling or is he actually politically opposed to their goals?
