Der Abbau von Störungsquellen durch zuverlässigeres Rollmaterial, Verbesserung der Infrastruktur sowie Ausbau der Personaldeckung ist definitiv notwendig, keine Frage, allerdings löst das das Problem der Überlastung des Bahnnetzes nicht. Die Schweiz hat nunmal auch ein dichteres Netz. (7/7)

100 % Zuverlässigkeit werden sich nie erreichen lassen, allerdings lassen sich die Auswirkungen von eventuellen Störungen durch Aufbau von Puffern und die Trennung von langsamem und schnellen Verkehr deutlich reduzieren. (6/7)

Der Güterverkehr profitiert ebenfalls, zum einen von der höheren Zuverlässigkeit auf der Bestandsstrecke, zum einen von der Möglichkeit die Neubaustrecke nachts zu nutzen, was dabei auch Anwohner der Bestandsstrecke zu Gute kommt. (5/7)

im Fernverkehr, eine komplett neue, schnelle Regionalverbindung zwischen Hamburg und Hannover, die Gemeinden entlang der Neubaustrecke anbindet wie z.B. bereits Merklingen, Allersberg und Kinding im Altmühltal. Durch freie Kapazitäten auf der Bestandsstrecke ist dann Taktverdichtung möglich. (4/7)

Auch der Regionalverkehr auf der Bestandsstrecke profitiert, da Überholungen durch (evtl verspäteten) Fernverkehr vermieden werden können.
Dass sich das Bahnangebot durch die Neubaustrecke verbessert, sollte das Offensichtlichste sein, immerhin gibt es dann eine deutliche Fahrzeitverkürzung (3/7)

Damit hat man dann 2 Strecken, die beide jeweils Fahrplanreserven haben, sodass beispielsweise ein Notarzteinsatz am Gleis, ein Böschungsbrand oder ein liegengebliebener Zug nicht den Fernverkehr in ganz D aus der Bahn wirft und auch Güterzüge etwas pünktlicher werden. (2/7)

Fakt ist doch, dass die Bestandsstrecke aktuell überlastet ist, sodass es bei kleinsten Störungen zu großen Auswirkungen kommt, da keine Redundanz vohanden ist. Eine Neubaustrecke schafft hier Abhilfe, indem die meisten Fernverkehrszüge eine eigene Trasse bekommen. (1/7)

Ich frag mich ja auch, warum er meint die Pläne wären nicht umsetzbar. Gerade in der hier auch nicht so dicht besiedelten norddeutschen Tiefebene ist eine Hochgeschwindigkeitsstrecke deutlich kostengünstiger baubar, und der Nutzen für den Bahnverkehr ist immens, ebenso für Bestandsstreckenanwohner.
