Trump posted a racist video depicting the Obamas as apes. My piece isn’t about the insult. It’s about what followed: minimal objection, mostly silence, no consequence.

I argue that when racism carries no political cost, enforcement of anti-discrimination laws will bend toward whoever holds power.

Imagine a world where most jobs are automated, freeing all of us to follow our passion. Imagine the art, innovation, and happiness of this world. Money becomes meaningless as most labor is free. Think Star Trek! Tech giants and the wealthy are scared rather than excited by this possibility.

Tech giants are jumping on-board the dumpster fire POTUS to control our future. Implemented correctly/ethically, AI could free us from poverty, illness, war, and? CAPITALISM. This battle is about creating a world for ALL of us or creating a world controlled completely by fascist billionaires.

Just the idea of them sharing a stage makes me all tingly. 🔥
