and I can tell you that—having turned it off—I am trying to develop new email habits. I unsubscribed from all the commercial and newsletter stuff I don't actually read, and I do two passes on emails now—the first to STAR things I actually want to deal with and delete the rest. Second to read

it really is bad that they have made it mandatory to get AI summaries of your emails if you also want to apply "Important" filters to them.

might not my personal relief from the punching give me the time and energy to advocate more generally?
