Work to-dos are a combo of an automated "queue" system that gives me a report of tasks assigned to me in various project plans (which is great as long as directors keep their plans updated) and then pen and paper lists with more detailed steps/batches within tasks.

They are particularly useful when talking about human comprehension because children understand the framing structure well before they master the linguistic play aspects of them, so you can directly observe their developing comprehension as they spontaneously try to craft their own knock knock jokes

Well, I chose to specifically reference knock knock jokes both because they are a simple, formalized joke structure relying on the teller understanding how to use phonetic similarity/semantic difference for surprising effect and because the form is then easily subverted to mock its own nature

if this were how human cognition worked, we would never have invented the knock knock joke.
