In a couple of weeks time, I'll be getting my first Photavit system camera, the Photavit IV. It takes proprietary canisters that are a combination between 35mm and Rapid. Doesn't work though ... yet. ##Photochat

A4: My favourite camera? Forever, the Gameboy. There's something about 0.014MP that's just ... liberating. I'm also a fan of Agfa. Did I mention the Rapid system? My current favourite Rapid camera is the Bilora Radix. It's actually a Karat camera that takes 24x24mm images ... ##Photochat

A2. Definitely a hobbyist. I like to play with decrepit cameras, and when I get something out of them, it's a win. Also like to try different films and techniques, and a 12-exposure Rapid film is great for that.

Oh no. I was talking about film. Digital (glitch stuff and Gameboy) goes to Insta, film rolls to Flickr. Digital photos to Blogger or increasingly, a Joomeo account.

I added all my rolls to my Flickr, but perhaps the LomoHome would be better ... 🤔

252 now (though I'm not a big Instagram user). Followed your LomoHome, too. But I can never remember to post there ...

And yet ... (getting to the stage where I'm ordering accessories now. Though I do have a Photavit IV ready for shipping).

Been doing mostly film photography for months. Yesterday, I powered up the micro four-thirds mirrorless camera and had a little practise with some freestyle surfers.

Another Zeiss Ikon Nettar (517/16) Film Camera A while ago, I picked up a beautiful Zeiss Ikon Nettar 517/16 medium format folding camera for next to nothing from the Kamerastore website. It was cheap because it had, 'flaws that will affect typical use.' In this case, the 'viewfinder has haze and fungus inside'. Otherwise, it was described as being in working condition. After a few weeks, I took it out with a roll of Lomochrome Turquoise, and the results were spectacular, but the hazy viewfinder was an issue and I really wanted to clean it out.

See What Happened When I redscaled Some Lomochrome Turquoise Film Way back in June I made my first redscale film, and I loved it. Since then, whenever I decant some 35mm film into Rapid canisters, the odds are that at least one of the canisters will be redscaled. Just recently, I picked up some Lomochrome Turquoise film especially to decant into Rapid canisters, as that's one film stock that I've really wanted to try with a Rapid camera, so of course as well as a 'normal' decanted film, I rolled a length of Lomochrome Turquoise reversed into a Rapid canister.
