Yeah! Here’s an in-progress photo. I drew the lines with chalk, then used washable hem tape to hold the organza in place as I stitched it.

The structural layer of the pants is complete! And the wide legs make me feel like a bowlegged cowboy. So I did a silly thing.

In an attempt to make my poofy pants maximum poof, I have created pant-petticoats the same way I sometimes make sleeve petticoats. It is essentially turning me into a human loofah. 😂

I only 3D print the outer part, and then glue it to an actual button shank so I’m not relying on the printed part for functionality/durability.

Being able to 3D print/resin cast my own buttons was a game changer here. Because yes. Finding good buttons sucks if you don’t have access to a fashion district.

Last night I had a realization of a better way to draft the pants, but it required me going back to square one. 😝 Luckily, it was worth it.
