Take for example Blaire White. She interacts with many on the right and I’ve not seen them misgender her when they probably misgender other trans people. Yes, she’s made her appearance such that it would be dumb to call her a male. But it’s also that they respect her. They don’t respect McBride.

If a total stranger misgenders me that could be an indication I need to do something different on my own transition journey. It is difficult to imagine strangers would misgender McBride. They are doing it to insult and humiliate her. There’s little she could change about her appearance to stop that.
