Once I settled on how I was going to paint him I think it only took me about four or five hours total. Basically it’s a fancy slap chop. Painting the Fiends first showed me the way forward, so it was fun. Someday I’ll do the Bile and Acid variants too.

Oh hey, it’s one of the games I did some supplementary testing on back in the day. Always did dig the visual aesthetic of the game. Developers had a lot of fun with what PS1 polygons could do.
