There are so many things out there for you to hyperfixate on, obsess over and build community around that are not exploitative, addicting or take advantage of you. Please please be critical and careful with what you allow to hijack your brain.

It's extremely depressing to see people on social media opently and enthusiatically talk about their parasocial feelings towards their waifus from their hyperexploitative gacha-game. Espacially since those games seem targed to specifically trap neurodiverse and marginalized people.

I'm of the humble opinion that examples of play should be idealised versions that clearly communicates a specific idea rather that accurate representations of how play actually is. By far the majority of every example of play is already way to long.

Why even play out a heist that goes as planned, or when the things happen are according to plan?

Unironically yes.
The things that makes heists fun is the planning and failing and the chaos and creativity that comes from things not going as intended, and how the prep and plans gets adapted to these new circumstances in a way that would have been impossible to invent on you own.

That is, to me, a giant red flag if there ever was one. Any kind of artist, including authors, that only care about their own field and don't interact with, understand or take inspiration from other areas of creative expression are in general not very good at what they do.

The thing with AI book covers is, despite artists not getting paid etc, Is that they always reveal the authors lack of aesthetic sensibilities. To me, that signals a profound disinterest in artistic expression outside their own chosen field, which in turn is a disinterest in culture in general.

Today, I did something I haven't done in a long time. Something I didn't think I would have to, or want to, do again.

Some of the pregens have been on quite a lot of adventures, and died many times.

I use the pregen characters from the Call of Cthulhu starter set all the time. When a PC dies, or the players dont have time to make one (perhaps they missed S0 or something), they usually take one of the pregens to use until they have their own new character.

The Chronopia covers, especially for the various splatbooks, are some of the best TTRPG covers for any game ever created.

As with so many people from Sweden, this is where it all started.
