Graphic showing CP EXCEL logo and participant feedback as follows: Taking part in the CP Life exercise programme has been supportive, fun and challenging in the right way. Manjula who runs the classes is lovely. I really enjoy working out in a group where my I/my body feels understood. The evidence-based exercises are chosen specifically for us, so we don't have to figure it all out on our own. The class is helping me maintain strength and feel more confident and in control of my health. The online videos make it easy to keep up between sessions and I've learned what level of exercise is right for adults with CP which helps me stay motivated and consistent. I am looking forward to next week already. Mary-Elaine McCavert. Logo and name of CP-Life Research Centre is displayed at the bottom of the graphic.

PREVALENCE AND INCIDENCE OF CHRONIC CONDITIONS AMONG ADULTS WITH CEREBRAL PALSY. A systematic review and meta-analysis.
PURPOSE OF STUDY:
To assess the prevalence and incidence of chronic conditions
among adults with cerebral palsy (CP) and compare them to the
prevalence and incidence among adults without CP.
METHOD
We searched MEDLINE and Embase
For Studies Reporting The Prevalence Or Incidence Of One Or More
Chronic Conditions Among Adults With Cp
Two Independent Reviewers Screened Titles, Abstracts, And Full-Text Articles
Two Independent Reviewers Extracted Data Relating To Prevalence
And Incidence And Appraised Study Quality
We Performed Random-effects Meta-analyses To Pool Prevalence And Incidence
RESULTS:
We identified 69 studies
65 reported the prevalence of 53 conditions
13 reported the incidence of 21 conditions
20% OF ADULTS HAD THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:

(21%) Depression
(23%) Mood Affective Disorders
(26%) Hypertension
(32%) Urinary Incontinence
(46%) Scoliosis
(21%) Anxiety
(24%) Asthma
(28%) Epilepsy
(38%) Malnutrition

CONCLUSION
Adults with CP were more likely to have type 2 diabetes, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia, hypertension,
ischaemic heart disease, stroke, cerebrovascular disease,
asthma, liver disease, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, under-
weight, and chronic kidney disease than adults without CP.

These data from 18 countries, which provide an international perspective, may be used to promote awareness, identify targets for intervention, and inform the development of appropriate supports for adults with CP.

Colourful infographic with title "Transition to adult services experienced by young people with Cerebral Palsy". AIM To assess if young people with cerebral palsy (CP) experienced and health professionals provided practices that may improve transition from child to adult health services. METHODS Seventy-five young people and 108 health professionals completed a questionnaire describing the experience or provision of key transition practices. INTERPRETATION - Many young people with CP do not receive supports that may improve the experience of transition. - Supports to improve transition may be inconsistently provided within and between organisations. - This study highlights areas for improvement when providing transition care to young people with CP.
Infographic shows boxes with statistics as follows:
A named worker to help with the transition process: Young person 36%, Health professionals 35%. Appropriate parental involvement: Young person 90%, Health professionals 66%.
